The first bouquets of 2022 have been making their way into homes across the valley for the last several weeks. These first spring beauties always have us excited, especially after the long cool days of winter. The colors and shapes of the specialty narcissus and tulips are a thing of beauty. New this season we are offering a 4 week spring bouquet subscription, and those began last week. If you missed out on the subscription we are excited to now be stocking the farmstand with seasonal bouquets and straight bunches of tulips. We wanted to take a moment to thank all of our customers who joined us for a bouquet subscription over the last 12 weeks! It was so wonderful to create beautiful bouquets for you each week using the flowers started and tended to here at the farm. Many of you signed up for the full season special, with weekly bouquets for 12 weeks to celebrate the season. Our monthly deluxe trio was new this year, and a big hit! Spring at the farm has been full and eventful! At the end of February we brought home our pregnant sheep Lolly and Hay Hay. We welcomed 3 lambs-a single female and twins, male and female, within a few hours of each other on Good Friday. The first baby was born at noon- and it went incredibly smooth. The second mama gave birth a few hours later after her labour stalled out when she thought the first baby was hers... I suppose a side affect of them going into labour at the exact same time. Thankfully all lambs pulled through, fed well and are growing rapidly. It's been an adventure so far, and we are thankful for the mentorship of an experienced...
Mother's Day is such a special time to celebrate the women in our life! My kids often bless me with home made cards, breakfast in bed, hot coffee and lots of hugs!

Last week we brought our two new mama sheep home to the farm, Heihei and Lolly. We are looking forward to welcoming their lambs this spring. We purchased them from a lovely local farmer, who has been such a wealth of knowledge. It took a very good amount of elbow grease for us to get the old sheep barn cleaned out, but it was well worth it. It's a lovely little barn with water and power, and lends itself to keeping a few sheep. This is one step closer to our goal of raising and growing our own food for our family. The added bonus is that we can create beautiful compost for our gardens to feed the soil. What an exciting week here at...
